Planning and Scheduling Head

About the role

KBR is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Head to lead the planning and scheduling of routine maintenance across all operational areas. The role oversees preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance performed by contractors, ensuring efficient resource use and alignment with budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term maintenance plans.
• Collect and analyse system data to support management decisions.
• Identify optimisation opportunities for resources and processes.
• Provide inputs for plant maintenance budgeting and monitor actual versus budgeted spend.
• Prepare monthly reports on work plans, completed activities, and KPI performance.
• Lead the contractor’s maintenance planning team and report to the Contractor Site Manager.
• Coordinate with operations, services, and internal maintenance departments on planning issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of oil & gas maintenance experience, or a diploma with 15+ years.
• Proven supervision and leadership experience in large‑scale maintenance planning.
• Strong judgment under pressure and ability to resolve complex problems.
• Strategic thinker comfortable with multicultural environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
