Planning Senior Analyst

About the role

The Planning Senior Analyst supports the execution and continuous improvement of material and resource planning processes within an Oracle Fusion environment. The role ensures accurate demand translation, maintains master data, and collaborates across production, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize inventory and lead times.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and maintain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Resource Requirements Planning (RRP) in Oracle Fusion, converting demand signals into procurement and production orders.
• Maintain planning master data (lead times, safety stock, parameters) to guarantee reliable MRP outputs.
• Review and resolve daily MRP exception messages, including rescheduling, cancellations, and past‑due orders.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and shop‑floor teams to align the Master Production Schedule with real capacity, flag bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support configuration and improvement of the Advanced Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to integrate real‑time shop‑floor data into planning.
• Collaborate with engineering and purchasing to release purchase requisitions, facilitate inventory transfers, and explore alternative designs using existing inventory.
• Maintain the Material Shortage Report and provide regular planning performance reports covering MPS adherence, lead‑time trends, and capacity utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing planning for production and material.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
