About the role
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement activities in a factory environment in Jeddah. The role involves assisting with purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials needed for production.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare purchase orders and track their status.
- Request quotations, confirm prices, and follow up on deliveries with suppliers.
- Support purchasing of production materials, spare parts, and factory supplies.
- Coordinate purchasing requirements with production, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Maintain supplier records and purchasing documentation.
- Help ensure materials are delivered on time and meet specifications.
Required profile
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
- Background in production, manufacturing, or factory operations is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and purchasing documentation.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to follow up on multiple requests.
