PMIS Team Leader

About the role

The PMIS Team Leader is responsible for the development, implementation, configuration and administration of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) to support effective project planning, execution and reporting across the organization. The role ensures data accuracy, creates dashboards and performance reports, manages system integrations and resolves technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain PMIS solutions, including integrations with ERP, HR, Finance, Procurement and third‑party applications.
• Analyse PMIS functionality, identify gaps and recommend enhancements.
• Manage ticketed query and issue‑tracking systems, maintaining comprehensive resolution logs.
• Collaborate with project managers, internal stakeholders and IT teams to improve PMIS performance and usability.
• Prepare system maintenance plans, upgrade schedules and documentation to ensure business continuity.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of PMIS errors, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Oversee data migration across environments to maintain synchronized functionality.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams, end‑users and stakeholders.
• Help develop policies, procedures and SLAs, and drive continuous improvement and change management.
• Mentor and develop the PMIS team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing PMIS or similar enterprise information systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for top‑down and bottom‑up information flow.
• Leadership capability to guide, mentor and develop a technical team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective results.
