Process Control Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Control Engineer to design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot control systems for production machinery. The role focuses on Siemens‑based PLCs, industrial automation, and the integration of sensors, drives and instrumentation to ensure reliable process performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programs and related control logic.
• Investigate hardware and logic faults on production equipment and propose corrective actions.
• Specify and install electronic devices such as transducers, displays, control cabinets and LV controls.
• Maintain APC system documentation, equipment libraries and technical literature.
• Design detailed control and electrical schematics for machinery, including AC/DC drives and motor controls.
• Supervise and train APC staff and contractors, delegating tasks based on expertise.
• Prepare contracts, purchase requisitions and project cost estimates.
• Monitor project timelines, progress and reporting, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in process control, industrial automation or related engineering fields.
• Proven ability to work with Siemens PLC platforms and associated hardware.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, specifications and project reports.
