Procurement Engineer – MEP & SAP Specialist

About the role

A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) procurement activities. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services while ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify vendors for MEP products and services.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives, value engineering, and compliance with project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP procurement.
• Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong coordination skills across engineering and site teams.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module proficiency.
