About the role
The Procurement Specialist will lead sourcing and purchasing activities for assigned categories, ensuring that goods and services are obtained on time, at the best price, and in full compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, process and track purchase orders in the ERP system, monitoring delivery schedules and accuracy.
- Evaluate, select and manage suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and service levels.
- Negotiate contracts and terms, supporting cost‑saving initiatives and monitoring landed costs.
- Ensure suppliers comply with regulatory and quality standards such as SFDA, HALAL, HACCP and ISO.
- Arrange and follow up on shipments (air, sea, land), handle customs documentation and verify timely receipt of goods.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations and Sales to align procurement activities with business needs.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 2 years in the foodservice or FMCG sector.
- Proven track record in sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Solid understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes and logistics in the food industry.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems for order processing and tracking.
