Product Manager of AI Applications, Global Public Sector

About the role

Scale is expanding its Global Public Sector team and seeks an entrepreneurial product leader to drive the creation of custom AI solutions for governments and public‑sector entities outside the United States. You will own large‑scale AI projects, translate client pain points into actionable product roadmaps, and deliver solutions that generate significant revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design workshops with government clients to define bespoke AI solutions.
• Scope and prioritize new AI application use cases across multiple public‑sector organizations.
• Direct cross‑functional teams of engineers, machine‑learning engineers, and operators to build custom LLMs and AI applications.
• Engage continuously with end‑users to gather feedback and adjust priorities.
• Stay current with applied AI research, define model evaluation criteria, and iterate on performance.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and internal leadership.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 1‑2 years building AI‑powered products.
• Strong technical background (STEM degree or equivalent technical product experience).
• Deep understanding of generative AI and large language model technologies.
• Experience with coding collaboration tools (e.g., Replit, Lovable, Bolt) and design platforms (Figma, Canva, Miro).
• Exceptional leadership, presentation, and communication abilities to influence cross‑functional teams.
