Production Analyst – Cost Control & Productivity

About the role

The Production Analyst will monitor and control the direct cost of products, ensure accurate bill of materials, and drive productivity improvements across manufacturing lines. Working closely with R&D and operations, the analyst provides data‑driven insights to optimize yields, reduce losses, and support sustainable production.

Key responsibilities

• Daily control of product direct costs and verification against target cost.
• Implement and maintain control charts for cost monitoring.
• Analyse yield, losses and line‑specific impact on overall results.
• Validate bills of materials (BOM) for compliance with processes and investigate deviations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and prepare anomaly reports for abnormal losses.
• Support R&D in launching new processes and products on the production line.
• Evaluate production performance and propose projects to increase productivity and reduce stoppages.
• Define line capacities, maintain proper cost rating per line and monitor UEP index.
• Apply BRF sustainability policies and contribute to ESG objectives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities for cost and yield analysis.
• Knowledge of bill of materials management and inventory control.
• Familiarity with production performance metrics and productivity improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of sustainability and ESG guidelines in manufacturing.
