Production Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Production Planner to manage item data, build plans, and material requirements within our ERP environment, supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Input new item organization data, including make/buy lead‑time and planner codes.
• Enter build plans into the ERP system to support planning tools.
• Develop and manage planning BOMs and associated resources.
• Review and convert Oracle Supply Planning (MRP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions and manufacturing orders.
• Monitor MRP compression and exception messages, resolve conflicts, and maintain regular communication with production, project management, procurement, and the master scheduler.
• Attend production meetings to verify scheduling adherence, focusing on ETA and demand supply.
• Support production management by confirming material availability or highlighting risks and driving issue resolution.
• Review ERP data daily to ensure material quantities align with order due dates.
• Maintain ERP master data accuracy through timely transaction execution.
• Re‑prioritize planning activities and check inventory to meet urgent deadlines.
• Represent the organization in a professional manner and perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Experience working with ERP and MRP systems, preferably Oracle Supply Planning.
• Strong communication skills with production, procurement, and scheduling teams.
• Ability to meet urgent deadlines and reprioritize tasks under pressure.
• Professional attitude and adherence to company policies and procedures.
