Production & Quality Manager

About the role

The Production & Quality Manager will lead the planning, execution and monitoring of manufacturing operations to ensure products meet approved specifications and are delivered on time. Reporting to senior management, the role combines oversight of production schedules with rigorous quality control across raw materials and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans that align with company and supply‑chain requirements.
• Monitor daily and weekly production targets, ensuring quantities, schedules and specifications are met.
• Supervise quality inspections of incoming materials and final products, guaranteeing compliance with technical standards.
• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Inventory and Warehousing to secure timely availability of production inputs.
• Track performance of production lines, minimise downtime and enforce efficiency and safety standards.
• Analyse quality and production issues, identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Control waste, damaged goods and returns, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Review and approve production and quality reports before submission to management.
• Support new product launches by validating sample production and ensuring specification compliance.
• Prepare regular KPI reports on production output, quality performance, waste and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Quality Management or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience managing production and quality functions in an industrial environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive operational excellence.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Excellent knowledge of safety, hygiene and quality standards applicable to manufacturing.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and production planning methodologies.
