Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day shop‑floor activities in a manufacturing environment that produces industrial consumables. You will ensure safe, efficient operations across mixing, extrusion, baking, wire drawing and packaging lines while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and manage shift schedules.
• Monitor output against KPIs such as downtime, efficiency and production targets.
• Take corrective actions to improve performance and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Enforce HSE procedures, ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager on manpower planning and line allocation.
• Guarantee raw‑material availability for uninterrupted production.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and develop operators’ skills.

Required profile

• High school diploma, technical/engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial shop‑floor supervision.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving record and ability to meet productivity goals.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work overtime and rotational shifts.
