Project Director – Construction Supervision

About the role

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead construction supervision for major infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role offers the opportunity to shape large‑scale developments while working within a global multidisciplinary consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee delivery of large infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Provide strategic direction to multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction supervision, commercial and project controls.
• Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships with government authorities, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality, safety and contractual standards.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contract administration, commercial management and claims resolution.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant regulations, standards and governance requirements.
• Drive project excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support business development through client engagement and proposal activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 20 + years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects, with extensive construction supervision and leadership experience.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of project management, construction supervision, contract administration, commercial management and project controls.
• Extensive senior‑level client and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience in international consultancy environments; GCC and Saudi Arabia project experience strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, chartership or equivalent are advantageous.
