Project Director – Mixed‑Use Development

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Project Director to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a high‑profile mixed‑use development. The role acts as the Client’s representative within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, ensuring the project meets agreed time, cost, quality and safety objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for the project, representing Client interests and establishing governance frameworks, reporting structures and execution plans.
• Develop and maintain an integrated master programme covering design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover; monitor contractor and consultant schedules and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee cost control activities, including budget tracking, change/variation evaluation and value‑engineering initiatives, while managing scope and change control.
• Coordinate design review across all disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, specialist systems) and ensure compliance with brand standards and technical requirements for hotel, serviced apartments, office and retail components.
• Supervise construction activities of main contractors, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, specifications and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large mixed‑use development projects and acting as the Client’s representative within a PMC environment.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, schedule integration, cost management and design coordination.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
