Project Engineer - NEOM

About the role

A Project Engineer position based in NEOM, Saudi Arabia, covering the execution of operational works across multiple sites, from handover through to project closure. The role acts as a single point of contact for site operations and supports the Line Manager and the Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational works on multiple sites, including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring and demobilization.
• Plan and carry out work according to the method statement, contracted scope, best practice and client obligations; report variances to the line manager before execution.
• Take part in client meetings on project progress and site performance as needed.
• Serve as the single point of contact for site operations for the Line Manager and the assigned Operations team.
• Produce ad hoc site reports when requested by the Line Manager.
• Make sure assigned resources perform their roles and use their time optimally, avoiding duplication.
• Support the Line Manager with technical, engineering and practical judgment throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including QHSE standards, and review site conditions for QHSE deviations.
• Maintain good relationships with all parties, representing the company, subcontractors, staff and third parties.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized university.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in construction or engineering with high turnover and activity, and supervising multiple construction projects.
• Ability to set clear priorities, delegate and guide personnel across multiple sites.
• Analytic, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of groundwater control is a plus.
