Project Manager - EPC Construction

About the role

ABICON is looking for a Project Manager based in Al Khobar to lead its piping, civil and mechanical construction scope on assigned EPC projects. The role covers planning, execution and delivery within approved budget, schedule, quality and HSE requirements, while managing client and stakeholder relationships. The workplace is on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution from mobilization through close-out.
• Develop and manage the project execution plan, budget and master schedule.
• Coordinate with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal departments.
• Oversee Construction, QC, Planning, Procurement and HSE functions.
• Chair progress meetings and report status to senior management and the client.
• Manage risks, changes and claims with the commercial/contracts team.
• Approve manpower, equipment and material mobilization plans.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications and applicable codes and standards.
• Drive cost control and schedule adherence through the project controls team.
• Enforce HSE standards and quality requirements across site activities.
• Support tendering and proposal input, and manage close-out, handover and lessons-learned documentation.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in EPC/construction project execution, including at least 5 years in a project management role on industrial or oil & gas projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Construction Engineering.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
