Project / Portfolio Manager – Large‑Scale A&E Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project/Portfolio Manager to lead large‑scale, multidisciplinary projects within an Architecture & Engineering consultancy. The role involves overseeing projects from initiation to close‑out, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, budget, schedule, quality standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, leading meetings, presentations and progress reviews.
• Plan, schedule and monitor project deliverables, ensuring milestones are met on time.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and resources to achieve project objectives.
• Track project budgets, manpower plans and financial performance; support variation orders and invoicing.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; manage changes and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures and quality requirements.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis to support management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an Engineering discipline from a reputable university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience managing large, complex projects in A&E consultancy firms.
• Proven track record in client management, budgeting, planning and operational coordination.
• Experience delivering high‑profile projects, preferably within the GCC region.
• PMP certification preferred.
