Project Procurement Manager – Asset Management, Construction & Operations

About the role

The Project Procurement Manager will lead all procurement activities for industrial projects within the Asset Management, Construction and Operations division in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Sr. Procurement Manager, you will be embedded in the project team and act as the single accountable procurement member throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Steer and coordinate procurement for the entire project, handling strategic and complex purchases.
• Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business targets, schedules and budgets.
• Lead negotiations with consultants, EPC contractors, and local equipment suppliers, in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Oversee tender processes, evaluate bids, and draft contracts together with legal and contract management teams.
• Manage project procurement buyers (if any) and ensure compliance with group policies, local regulations and governance standards.
• Identify, prioritize and engage strategic partners, building medium‑to‑long‑term relationships.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement corrective actions and monitor procurement costs.
• Maintain shared documentation, procurement plans and performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing procurement for large‑scale industrial or construction projects.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of local procurement regulations and corporate governance.
• Demonstrated capability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex contracts.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and cost control.
