Property & Inventory Control Officer (Shared Services)

About the role

The Property and Inventory Control Officer is responsible for receiving, recording, transferring and disposing of fixed assets for Fakeeh Care. The role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and supports the Purchasing and Biomedical departments.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Purchasing to track new purchase orders and follow up on missing documents.
• Perform three‑way checks (PO, invoice, physical items) to verify price, description and quantity.
• Prepare and file Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), obtain required signatures and register items in Oracle.
• Coordinate asset transfers, assign custodians and update the system accordingly.
• Prepare summary reports on transfers and disposals for management.
• Obtain technical assessment reports for disposals and manage scrap buyer quotations.
• Maintain the Property Control stockroom and act as custodian for the scrap cage.
• Investigate asset damage not due to normal wear and assist in physical inventory counts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Officer: 0‑2 years of experience in fixed‑asset or inventory management; Senior Officer: minimum 3 years.
• Excellent oral and written English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Oracle for asset registration and mass addition.
