Purchaser – Construction Procurement (KSA)

About the role

The Purchaser will manage all procurement activities for Six Construct’s construction projects in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that materials, equipment and services are acquired on time, within budget and in compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase requisitions from internal departments.
• Source qualified suppliers, issue RFQs and obtain competitive quotations.
• Evaluate commercial offers, prepare bid comparison analyses and negotiate prices, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders in line with company procedures and track their status.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, engineering and project teams to ensure smooth material deliveries.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, quantity, delays or documentation.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases and contract files.
• Provide regular procurement progress updates to stakeholders and support supplier performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in construction, engineering or industrial sectors.
• Experience with procurement of construction, civil, mechanical and electrical items is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
• Competent use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
