About the role
H&P is looking for a proactive Purchaser/Buyer to manage inventory levels, coordinate orders with vendors and warehouses, and negotiate contracts. The role ensures that all purchased goods are delivered on time, at the best price, and meet the company’s quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory, placing orders to keep stock fully supplied.
- Generate purchase orders using the company’s procurement system.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and rigs to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts.
- Negotiate and establish payment terms with local suppliers and vendors.
- Audit vendor performance and manage local trade agreements.
- Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for RFQ processes.
- Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and contract‑management instructions.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or related fields.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent organizational skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficient PC skills, especially Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting.
