Quality Control Inspector – Produce (Riyadh)

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all inbound fresh produce deliveries meet Panda specifications and local food‑safety regulations before they enter the supply chain. You will work in the distribution centre, performing inspections, sampling and documentation to guarantee product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and schedule daily fresh‑produce deliveries and follow the DC receiving SOP.
• Check vehicle and product temperatures before off‑loading and before dispatch to stores.
• Perform product inspections, apply sampling plans, and recommend acceptance or rejection based on established specifications.
• Record non‑conformities with photos, complete receiving logs and checklists, and report findings to the Team Leader.
• Verify proper storage conditions for each product category and monitor pest‑control measures.
• Conduct Brix and firmness tests on fruits and ensure compliance with SASO/SFDA and international standards.

Required profile

• Diploma (college level preferred) with mandatory experience in fresh produce or grocery quality control.
• Familiarity with corporate QA regulations and food‑safety standards.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and provide technical justification for rejected deliveries.
