React Developer

About the role

Starways is seeking a React Developer to join its digital solutions team. The role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality web applications for e-government platforms that support Saudi Vision 2030. You will work closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React.js web applications following best practices.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable components.
• Integrate RESTful APIs in collaboration with backend developers.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• React.js (including hooks and functional components)
• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• State management with Redux or Context API
• REST APIs and asynchronous programming
• Git version control
• Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Next.js (nice-to-have)
• TypeScript (nice-to-have)
• CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps practices (nice-to-have)
• Testing libraries such as Jest and React Testing Library (nice-to-have)
