Reconciliation Manager

About the role

The Reconciliation Manager will lead the financial reconciliation function, ensuring that all account balances are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards. This senior position reports to senior finance leadership and works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive process excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily reconciliation activities across multiple systems, including T24 and Cortex.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve reconciliation policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits to detect and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to automate reconciliation workflows and reduce manual errors.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards and internal controls.
• Analyze reconciliation data to provide actionable insights for senior management.
• Mentor and manage a team of reconciliation professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6‑10 years of experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
