Rigless Drilling Operations Foreman – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Rigless Drilling Operations Foreman will supervise and coordinate rigless drilling, well completion and workover activities at on‑shore and off‑shore well sites in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures safe, efficient and timely execution of well programs in line with approved procedures, industry standards and Saudi Aramco requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise rigless drilling, well completion and workover operations at remote on‑shore and off‑shore locations.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely and comply with well programs, SOPs, industry best practices and HSE standards.
• Coordinate contractors, well services, equipment, materials, logistics and site support.
• Maintain compliance with blowout prevention (BOP) standards, equipment testing and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor operational progress, costs and produce accurate daily reports.
• Verify contractor compliance with contractual, competency and equipment specifications.
• Identify cost‑optimization and operational‑improvement opportunities without compromising safety.
• Provide on‑the‑job guidance and training to less experienced personnel.

Required profile

• Proven experience in rigless drilling, well completion or workover operations.
• Experience supervising complex or critical wells (deep, high‑pressure, sour‑gas or highly deviated).
• Strong knowledge of well‑site safety, BOP requirements and contractor management.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and procedures is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work a 28‑days‑on/28‑days‑off rotational schedule at remote locations.
