Sales Assistant Engineer

About the role

Delta Lighting is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant Engineer to support its sales team in Saudi Arabia. You will combine technical knowledge of lighting and electrical products with strong customer‑facing skills to help deliver tailored lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations and technical documentation.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical information to customers.
• Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities and visit project sites to ensure alignment with progress.
• Offer technical support before, during and after sales, troubleshooting issues under the guidance of the sales account manager.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of lighting products, technologies and industry trends; prepare samples and mock‑ups as required.
• Build strong customer relationships, resolve complaints promptly and ensure high satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain sales records, reports and documentation; assist with order processing and inventory management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate to 2 years of experience in the lighting sector.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable, hardworking, detail‑oriented and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Currently based in Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical products, power and control systems.
• Familiarity with lighting technologies and smart‑home control solutions.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work with ERP systems following company procedures.
