Sales Consultant – Technical Solutions for Oil & Gas

About the role

CORE Arabia is seeking a proactive Sales Consultant to drive commercial development of its service and technical offerings across oil & gas, industrial, mining and related sectors. You will act as the primary commercial liaison from opportunity identification through proposal, negotiation, award, hand‑over to operations and post‑award follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline for services, repairs, refurbishment, maintenance, packaging and technical solutions.
• Identify target customers, manage vendor registration and pre‑qualification processes.
• Conduct customer visits and discovery meetings to capture needs, equipment applications and decision criteria.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and presentations with input from technical, operations, finance and management teams.
• Support negotiations within approved authority limits and escalate complex contractual or pricing issues.
• Coordinate hand‑over of awarded work to operations, ensuring clear scope, pricing, delivery dates and special requirements.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity status, forecasts and customer correspondence.
• Gather market intelligence on customers, competitors, trends and upcoming projects.
• Monitor post‑award feedback and resolve commercial or service issues to protect CORE Arabia’s reputation.
• Provide regular updates to management on pipeline, forecasts, risks and support needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related technical/commercial discipline.
• Experience or familiarity with oil & gas, industrial or mining markets is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of procurement channels, vendor registration practices and workshop/service markets.
