Sales Coordinator Intern (Summer)

About the role

Foodics is looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator Intern to join its sales operations team for the summer. You will be the first point of contact for inbound inquiries and will help generate new sales opportunities through cold‑calling and lead qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to real‑time telephone and web inquiries from the Foodics website and other channels.
• Make cold calls to generate new sales opportunities and hand them over to the sales team once qualified.
• Follow up leads via phone and email, schedule meetings between prospects and the sales team, and log activities in the CRM.
• Handle objections, articulate Foodics’ value proposition, and aim to schedule product demos.
• Support the sales operations team to accelerate the sales cycle and expand reach into target accounts.
• Assist marketing initiatives, including online and direct‑mail campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Business or a related field.
• Confident phone presence and willingness to make cold calls.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude; persistence in the face of rejection.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self‑starter able to work independently across functional groups.
• Flexible and comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems (advantageous).
