Salesforce Technical Lead

About the role

Horizontal Digital, a digital consultancy, is looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead based in Riyadh or Jeddah to own the technical delivery of a large-scale, integration-heavy Salesforce programme for a major enterprise client in the Kingdom. You will work with project stakeholders including consultants, development leads, business analysts, technical architects, project managers, client teams and third-party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical delivery of Salesforce workstreams, from solution design through development and deployment to go-live
• Lead technical discovery and design sessions with the client, turning business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and client-ready technical documentation
• Guide project teams on the technical roadmap, architecture and platform
• Mentor a team of developers, delegate work, review deliverables and uphold coding standards
• Own the development lifecycle, including plans, risks, dependencies, timelines and resourcing
• Keep technical delivery aligned with project goals, budgets and timelines, and act as the technical bridge between development, project leadership and the client
• Drive agile/Scrum delivery and maintain technical documentation, knowledge transfer and code quality
• Act as a Salesforce technical adviser and subject-matter expert, and keep up to date with platform capabilities and emerging technologies

Required profile

• 10+ years of consulting or technology experience, including 7+ years of Salesforce
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Architect on enterprise Salesforce implementations
• Several successful Salesforce implementations delivered with agile/iterative methods
• Experience leading technical design sessions and producing technical documentation
• Experience contributing to business development and pre-sales discussions as a Salesforce SME
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Riyadh or Jeddah, and willing to travel to client sites

Required skills

• Custom Salesforce solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, integrations, web services and data migration
• Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with exposure to Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and MuleSoft
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, APIs, security and integration patterns
• Nice to have: Arabic, Amadeus Digital Integration Hub, Kafka / Confluent, Amadeus Web Services APIs, travel/aviation/hospitality background, previous delivery in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
