Senior Project Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

Horizontal Digital, a digital consultancy building websites, apps and portals for large corporate clients, is looking for a Saudi National Senior Project Manager based in Riyadh. The role leads full-lifecycle digital transformation projects from inception to implementation using agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide agile project management oversight for multiple projects, defining objectives, scope, estimates, timelines and level of effort.
• Develop project strategies and plans, and choose the methods and tools needed.
• Keep projects on track and on budget, resolving issues with clients and monitoring progress and budget against plan.
• Manage scope by coordinating responses to change requests and ensure quality through planning, execution, quality assurance and quality control.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate risks.
• Work with end users, business technologists and stakeholders to define system requirements and design specifications, and guide them from conceptual to technical design.
• Provide leadership, solutions and motivation to project team members.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Minimum 5 years of client-facing digital project management experience, preferably using agile methodologies.
• Minimum 2 years of agency/consultancy experience (5+ years preferred).
• 2+ years managing large-scale website projects covering discovery, UX, design, front-end and website development, QA, deployment and maintenance.
• Organised, proactive, natural leader, strong communicator, able to present to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Prior exposure to digital marketing solutions such as Sitecore and Salesforce.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence preferred.
• Ability to earn SCRUM certification within 90 days.
