Senior Accountant - KSA

About the role

Quill Arabia is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee its financial transactions and act as the main financial liaison with the regional finance team in Dubai. The role covers accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, tax compliance and reporting, and financial monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial transactions in line with accounting principles and Saudi regulations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with KSA tax laws, including ZATCA requirements, VAT preparation, filing and regulatory reporting.
• Manage intercompany transactions and cross-border (GCC) accounting where applicable.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure documentation and processes meet compliance standards.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning and strategy.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies, variances and inefficiencies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Submit financial reports, compliance filings and business documentation through KSA government portals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, CMA or equivalent certification highly preferred.
• At least 6 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in KSA.
• Strong knowledge of KSA tax laws, ZATCA compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in intercompany and cross-border (GCC) accounting is a plus.
• Arabic and English to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
