Senior Architectural Technical Engineer (BIM)

About the role

A leading real estate development company in Riyadh is looking for a Senior Architectural Technical Engineer (BIM) to deliver technical architectural information for construction projects within the property industry. The role uses BIM processes to produce clear, accurate designs that support project delivery, and offers the chance to work on one of the most important projects in KSA.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural design drawings, finishes and shop drawings for compliance with design standards and specifications.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural shop drawings against approved design intent, the BIM model and site conditions.
• Maintain As-Built drawings for handover.
• Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs for architectural and finishing works to support procurement, tendering and variation evaluation.
• Lead architectural BIM modelling, coordination and clash detection with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Review material submittals, mock-ups and finishing samples, and coordinate with interior design and specialist finishes teams.
• Support site architectural engineers on complex detailing issues.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense requirements and international design standards.
• Help develop reusable standard technical details and specification libraries.

Required profile

• Practical capability in architectural technical engineering and construction documentation.
• Experience reviewing design information and identifying coordination issues.
• Ability to manage drawing updates and maintain accurate project records.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of BIM modelling and coordination processes.
• Ability to produce detailed architectural drawings, schedules and technical details.
