Senior Bridge Engineer

About the role

Egis MESA is looking for a highly motivated Senior Bridge Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join its structures team in Riyadh. The role suits a mid-level engineer who excels in technical design and also contributes to team leadership, client engagement and cross-disciplinary coordination to improve local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and design transportation structures such as bridges, retaining walls and box culverts.
• Prepare engineering and design documents using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
• Lead the preparation of plans, reports and specifications and take ownership of projects.
• Work with internal teams and clients to define project goals and deliverables, acting as client liaison in meetings and presentations.
• Collaborate with transportation, environmental and planning teams on multi-disciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis preferred.
• 5-10 years of bridge and structures engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
• Project management experience and proven ability to communicate with clients and team members are highly valued.
• Well-established industry relationships and willingness to help lead or support proposal efforts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in bridge design software and structural analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD and other structural and civil engineering software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
