Senior Contracts & Commercial Manager

About the role

Egis is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts & Commercial Manager to lead contract management and commercial activities for construction projects in Riyadh. You will protect the company’s interests while building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including terms, conditions, and commercial provisions.
• Analyze contract documents to identify risks, opportunities, and commercial implications.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from tender to project close‑out.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, local laws, and Egis policies.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and project teams to align commercial objectives.
• Prepare commercial reports, performance metrics, and profitability analyses for senior management.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise project profitability and minimise exposure.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout execution.
• Monitor contract performance against KPIs and handle disputes, claims, and variations promptly.
• Maintain organized contract documentation in a centralised system.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in contracts and commercial management within construction.
• Proven expertise in positive contract management and commercial operations.
• Advanced knowledge of construction contract standards such as FIDIC or AIA.
• Strong understanding of contract law, legal compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• In‑depth knowledge of FIDIC, AIA, or equivalent contract frameworks.
