Senior Delivery Director – Sports Stadium Project

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a senior leader to drive the end‑to‑end delivery of a flagship sports stadium. The role will oversee construction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure the venue meets national athletics objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all construction and delivery phases, guaranteeing alignment with the project vision, budget, quality and schedule.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to devise delivery strategies and monitor progress.
• Engage government bodies, sports federations and community stakeholders to synchronize objectives.
• Implement rigorous governance, risk management and quality control throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site assessments, reporting and compliance checks with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate coordination among contractors, suppliers and subcontractors to maintain a productive environment.
• Provide senior management with strategic updates, flagging challenges and recommending improvements.
• Promote sustainable practices and innovative solutions that enhance stadium functionality and environmental stewardship.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience delivering large‑scale sports infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering a major stadium or arena.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills
