Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and monitoring solutions. The role is pivotal in linking development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver compliant, auditable releases for the financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent) integrated with version‑control systems.
• Manage Docker containerization workflows, including image builds, registry management, and deployments.
• Oversee environment management across development, testing, staging, and production, ensuring consistency and segregation.
• Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning) and enforce automated quality and security gates.
• Administer application monitoring platforms such as New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana, and manage secrets solutions.
• Coordinate production releases with Infrastructure, Database, and Product teams following change‑management procedures.
• Define release management procedures, approval workflows, and rollback strategies.
• Produce audit and compliance evidence for regulators, internal audit, and external assessors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of SAMA Cyber Security and IT Governance Frameworks.
• Relevant certifications (AWS DevOps, Azure DevOps, CKA, CKAD, DevSecOps) are highly preferred.
