Senior Director Portfolio Management

About the role

The Senior Director of Portfolio Management will lead the performance, alignment, and value realization of a strategic portfolio of projects across Vision Industries. This leadership position oversees the full project lifecycle—from development and financing through construction and operation—ensuring each initiative supports corporate strategy and delivers optimal ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of projects from shareholder agreement to operational start‑up and sustainable performance.
• Ensure all projects align with corporate strategy and business objectives.
• Monitor portfolio KPIs, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio‑level risks with contingency planning.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Act as the primary interface between project teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with governance frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive stakeholder communication and expectation management.
• Lead portfolio optimization to maximize efficiency, performance, and ROI.
• Deliver measurable business value across the entire project portfolio.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in portfolio management, project execution, or business performance roles.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale, capital‑intensive projects in energy, solar manufacturing, wind manufacturing, infrastructure, or related industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle (development, financing, construction, operation).
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and performance frameworks.
• Business acumen with ability to analyze KPIs, financial performance, and strategic alignment.
• Experience in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Excellent executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s preferred.
