Senior Electrical Technical Engineer (Technical/QC)

About the role

A leading real estate developer in Riyadh is looking for a Senior Electrical Technical Engineer (Technical/QC) to oversee electrical technical and quality control activities across its property projects. The role helps ensure electrical works meet project requirements and supports reliable delivery within the property industry.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate electrical design drawings, specifications and shop drawings for high-rise tower MEP systems.
• Prepare and coordinate electrical shop drawings in line with approved design intent, the BIM-coordinated model and site conditions.
• Maintain As-Built drawings for electrical works for record and O&M handover.
• Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs from drawings to support procurement, tendering and variation/change order evaluation.
• Perform technical/QC reviews of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-current and BMS interfaces against design and codes.
• Support BIM coordination so electrical services integrate clash-free with other disciplines.
• Review vendor technical submittals, material approvals and equipment datasheets.
• Guide site electrical engineers on complex installation issues and ensure compliance with SEC requirements, the Saudi Building Code, NFPA and other international standards.
• Take part in technical inspections, witness testing and commissioning reviews, and prepare reports on non-conformances.

Required profile

• Strong practical knowledge of electrical technical review and quality control.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience inspecting electrical installation works and recording clear findings.
• Confidence in preparing accurate technical and QC reports and following up on corrective actions.
