Senior Manager - Construction

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager to lead high‑rise construction projects worldwide. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring design intent, budget, and schedule are met while driving strategic decisions across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall administration of high‑rise construction projects, establishing objectives, policies, and protocols aligned with PMC standards.
• Provide strategic guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors, enforcing company and project policies.
• Serve as primary liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams on complex multi‑story developments.
• Oversee design‑build integration, resolve design‑related construction challenges, and coordinate design meetings.
• Administer projects from pre‑construction budgeting and scheduling through procurement, shop‑drawing development, RFI management, construction execution, space turnover, and contract closeout.
• Maintain profit/loss responsibility and manage vertical logistics, safety protocols, and multi‑phase coordination typical of high‑rise projects.
• Collaborate with consultants to address constructability, value‑engineering opportunities, and design modifications while protecting schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 20 years of progressive construction management experience, including at least 10 years managing high‑rise or complex multi‑story projects.
• Proven experience with full project lifecycle management, from pre‑construction through closeout.
