Senior Manager – Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) engagements within the energy sector. You will partner with senior leadership and clients to design and execute accounting strategies that mitigate risk and meet regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver FAAS projects for energy‑sector clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and client‑focused outcomes.
• Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and client teams to define engagement scope, budget, and risk controls.
• Monitor team performance against budgets, adjust resources as needed, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and performance drivers, providing insights to clients.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals for new FAAS work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with roughly seven years of relevant experience.
• Minimum two years in a managerial role within accounting transformation or advisory, preferably in power and utility.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and performance‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, presentation, and client‑service skills.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
