Senior PKI Expert – Trusted Service Provider

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PKI Expert to lead our Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations within our Trusted Service Provider (TSP) services. Reporting directly to top management, you will shape PKI strategy, ensure WebTrust compliance, and uphold the highest levels of trust and security for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own and align the PKI business strategy with overall corporate goals.
• Hire, set up, and manage the PKI organization structure.
• Chair PKI governance board meetings and approve key decisions.
• Lead implementation and ongoing compliance with WebTrust for Certification Authorities, CA/Browser Forum Baseline Requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Oversee certificate lifecycle operations, digital signature processes, HSM management, and secure key ceremonies.
• Ensure integrity and security of Root and Subordinate CA operations.
• Act as primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and trust community bodies.
• Drive continuous improvement of PKI operations, digital signatures, and governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of full‑time experience in IT and/or management with strong exposure to IT security.
• Proven hands‑on team leadership and organizational management skills.
• Management qualification (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
• Superior or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred.
• Strong information security management experience.
• Practical experience in WebTrust, PKI operations, audits, and compliance.
• CISSP or equivalent certification is a plus.
