Senior Planner IV – Turnaround Maintenance (TAM)

About the role

The Senior Planner IV will lead the planning and execution of major Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) projects at our Jubail facility. Reporting to the Maintenance department, you will coordinate scope definition, scheduling, budgeting and close‑out activities to ensure safe and efficient plant turnarounds.

Key responsibilities

• Extract priority work orders from SAP and compile a comprehensive TAM work list for review.
• Develop and approve initial scope, prepare detailed contractor scopes, and generate purchase requisitions.
• Create, route and obtain approval for job packages and use Primavera P6 to build Pre‑TAM and execution schedules.
• Conduct schedule review meetings, publish baseline schedules at least four months before execution, and issue look‑ahead schedules.
• Monitor key performance indicators, report deviations, and provide daily status updates.
• Ensure proper close‑out of TAM activities, confirm TECO status, archive feedback and manage material returns.
• Coordinate refurbishment of spare components, schedule post‑commissioning critique meetings and compile the TAM Closeout Report.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in plant maintenance and turnaround planning.
• Strong work ethic, safety focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) with working knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Project System (PS) modules.
• Experience using Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Competence in contractor management and project management processes.
