Senior Planning Engineer – Jeddah

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team on a major project in Jeddah. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and supporting cost control and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to gather planning data.
• Analyze critical paths and constraints, propose mitigation measures to recover slippage.
• Participate in progress meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and other contractual time‑related documentation.
• Ensure planning activities comply with client requirements and standards.
• Support cost control and risk management functions as required.
• Align schedule with procurement and construction teams regarding resource and material availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Advanced Excel skills.
