Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own and operate our Linux‑based infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters on Google Kubernetes Engine, and associated cloud services. The role will ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of platform components that support our cybersecurity and digital transformation services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, and containerised workloads.
• Administer and optimise Google Cloud Platform resources, including Compute, IAM and networking.
• Maintain platform services such as Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ and related components.
• Monitor system health, logs, alerts and performance metrics using Prometheus, Grafana and Loki.
• Handle critical incidents, escalations, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Support deployments, upgrades, configuration changes and platform enhancements.
• Document operational procedures, SOPs and technical records.
• Drive automation initiatives and continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud operations, system administration or DevOps.
• Strong background with Linux (Ubuntu) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proven ability to support high‑availability production environments and manage incidents.
