Senior Project Manager (Museums/Cultural Institutions)

About the role

AtkinsRealis is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead exhibition design and construction supervision for high‑profile museum and cultural institution projects in Riyadh. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from concept development through fabrication, installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring world‑class visitor experiences and compliance with heritage and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage exhibition design from schematic to detailed design, coordinating multidisciplinary teams including designers, architects, lighting and AV consultants.
• Oversee on‑site construction supervision, monitoring contractor performance, conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, review sessions and design approvals, aligning exhibition narratives with curatorial and operational goals.
• Control project schedules, budgets and risk registers, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are applied to all exhibition elements, including multimedia systems and artifact handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in museum, cultural or large‑scale exhibition projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
• Strong understanding of heritage conservation, sustainability and visitor experience principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
