Senior Project Manager – Stadium Projects

About the role

Mace is seeking a senior project manager to lead the delivery of flagship stadium projects in South Riyadh. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept through handover, ensuring world‑class standards for major sporting events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a stadium project, from pre‑concept to completion and handover.
• Manage design development and coordination, aligning with international stadium standards and client/operator requirements.
• Oversee procurement strategy, tendering, contractor selection and contract management.
• Drive programme, cost and quality control to meet milestones and budget constraints.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with clients, authorities, designers, contractors and specialist consultants.
• Manage construction delivery, site operations, risk resolution and commissioning.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and sustainability standards are consistently achieved on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related discipline (chartered status preferred).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction or consultancy project management.
• Proven end‑to‑end stadium project experience on large, complex venues.
• Strong knowledge of stadium design principles and experience managing multidisciplinary teams and Tier 1 contractors.
• Excellent commercial, procurement and contract‑management capability.
• Eligibility to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant high‑value project experience.
