Senior Registrar – Physician (All Specialties)

About the role

The Senior Registrar Physician provides high‑quality patient care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. Reporting to the Medical Director, the role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing clinical management within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients in the assigned specialty.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment and clinical management plans.
• Request, perform and interpret relevant investigations, diagnostic tests and procedures within the approved scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, patient‑safety standards and hospital policies.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification, specialty training or professional certification.
• SCFHS professional classification and registration.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in the applicant’s medical or surgical specialty.
