Senior Tender Engineer

About the role

The Senior Tender Engineer will lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for construction projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and company standards. This role requires close collaboration with internal departments and a strong focus on cost accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling and accurate technical and commercial bids aligned with client needs and company strategy.
• Estimate all project costs—including materials, labour, and equipment—to guarantee profitability.
• Ensure bids comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Analyse project requirements, understand client needs, and advise management on tender selection.
• Act as the central point of contact, coordinating internal teams and managing client negotiations during the evaluation process.
• Oversee the entire tendering process from initial request to final contract handover, maintaining efficiency and organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or proposal engineering.
• Local tendering experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
