Senior Treasury Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant to lead daily cash and banking operations for a greenfield industrial company preparing for commercial production in 2026. This ground‑floor position will build and own the treasury function from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash positions across SAR and USD accounts and produce rolling cash‑flow forecasts.
• Execute payments on corporate banking platforms (HSBCnet, SNB, FAB) ensuring segregation of duties.
• Handle end‑to‑end bank account opening, mandate setup, signatory matrices and KYC documentation.
• Execute, confirm and settle FX conversion contracts (spot/forward) and maintain deal registers.
• Manage copper hedging contracts and invest surplus cash in time deposits, tracking maturities and returns.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and treasury journal entries in the ERP system.
• Oversee trade finance operations, including issuance and amendment of letters of credit, guarantees and documentary collections.
• Administer working‑capital facilities and term‑loan utilizations, monitoring covenants and reporting deadlines.
• Support external audit, IFRS reporting (IAS 7, IAS 21, IFRS 9) and internal control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications (SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, CTP) are a plus.
• 4–10 years of corporate treasury or accounting experience in an industrial, manufacturing or trading environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Saudi corporate banking platforms and bank‑account/mandate management.
• Practical ERP experience for bank reconciliations and treasury entries.
• Working knowledge of IFRS standards relevant to treasury.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
