SEO Merchandizer – Drive AI‑Powered Search Growth

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Merchandizer to lead the evolution of our search strategy towards generative AI‑driven optimization. You will work closely with content, marketing and technical teams to boost website visibility, traffic and conversions while exploring emerging AI search trends.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute SEO activities to improve website visibility, traffic and rankings.
• Monitor performance with Google Analytics and deliver actionable insights.
• Support the transition from traditional SEO to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI‑led search strategies.
• Track developments in AI search, conversational engines and Agentic Commerce, identifying business opportunities.
• Coordinate tasks between SEO/Digital agencies and internal IT teams for timely implementation.
• Collaborate with content, marketing and technical teams to optimise site structure, content and performance.
• Track, analyse and report SEO KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions and user behaviour.
• Develop dashboards, reports and analyses using advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Create professional presentations and project updates with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Prepare regular progress updates for management in clear, non‑technical language.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of practical SEO experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Analytics.
• Good understanding of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO and emerging GEO/AI concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Organised, accountable and capable of managing multiple priorities.
